Life Cycle Program Driven Theory of Aging
A milestone contribution establishing aging as a programmed biological process and providing the theoretical foundation for the later development of the TRCS Model and the Integrated Aging Theory Framework.
2011 Programmed Aging Theory: From Aging Mechanisms to a Temporal Framework
The 2011 work proposed that aging is not a passive accumulation of damage, but a genetically programmed process governed by biological timing mechanisms.
It introduced the concept that lifespan progression follows an ordered temporal program, in which age-related gene expression changes are driven by underlying biological timing mechanisms, later conceptualized as “countdown elements” in the Integrated Aging Theory Framework.
This theoretical foundation later contributed to the development of the TRCS Model and the Integrated Aging Theory Framework.
